What is your worship service like?

You'll be greeted by one of our friendly ushers. You'll see a traditional church setting with pews and chairs. At 11:00 a minister will greet the congregation and open up the service in prayer. Immediately following, our praise team will sing our welcome song and several songs in a row, which will be accompanied by our gifted band members. Some members will be seated but many will be standing while singing. Some will have their hands raised as a testimony of God's goodness, some will be clapping, some may say "Hallelujah!" with vigor, and some will be sitting quietly, perhaps with their yes closed. People worship God in a variety of ways. Afterwards the praise dancers may minister or a solo may be sung. The minister will deliver an understandable, uplifting message from the Bible. Prayer time, giving monetary gifts, and announcements follow. We generally end with a prayer and our closing song at 1:00 p.m.

What Type of Church is Kingdom First Ministries (KFM)?

KFM is a non-denominational Christian Church.  We are making a positive impact upon the city of Baltimore by helping individuals and families grow in their Christian faith and discover God’s plan for their lives.  We have a family atmosphere where people smile, laugh and happily worship knowing that we have come together for the common purposes of praising God and improving our lives.

What is appropriate to wear to church?

The dress ranges from casual to professional. People wear various styles, from jeans to dressy suits. Come as you are.

Do you have ministry for children and teenagers?

KFM is dedicated to seeing children and youth develop an active faith toward God and His Word as well as enjoy coming to church. We have children’s church and various opportunities for youth to become actively involved in our ministry.

How do I become a member of Kingdom First Ministries?

At each service, a minister will ask if anyone would like to join the church. Many join this way. If you are a regular attendee, then you are also considered a member. Members are asked to fill out a membership form, which can be obtained from any usher or by requesting one.
