Dr. Michelle Holland submitted to the call on her life to teach and preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the early 1990s. She served as a Senior Teacher for the Youth Ministry at a Baltimore assembly and was ordained as a Deaconess in 1993. In 1994, she started serving as a Bible Teacher in the Baltimore City Detention Center Prison Ministry.
Also in the same year, she began to teach at Family Bible Institute, College, and Seminary. In addition, she served as the President of the West Baltimore Chapter of Women’s Aglow for four years. Michelle was ordained as a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ on May 6, 1995.
In the summer of 1997, she started Maximized Womanhood and she currently holds bi-monthly Treasured Time and Tea™ parties with women from all walks of life in Baltimore to spread and illuminate the Word of God in women’s lives.
Dr. Michelle is a Certified Instructor for the National Baptist Convention of America, Inc. and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She currently serves as the Dean of Education for the Maryland Association of Ministers’ Wives and Ministers’ Widows, and is also an active member of The Greater Baltimore Ministers’ Wives and Ministers’ Widows Fellowship.
She also serves on the Board of Ordination for Christ-Centered Fellowship of Churches, Inc.
Dr. Holland has been the recipient of several degrees and certificates. She completed her undergraduate studies at Hampton University and earned her Doctorate of Christian Education degree from Family Bible Seminary in 1995. Dr. Holland also has received a certificate in Pastoral Counseling from the Sarasota School of Christian Counselors in Florida.
In addition, she is a graduate of The College of Notre Dame where she received her Masters of Arts degree in Leadership in Teaching in May 2000. She currently serves as an Assistant Principal of the Lower School of Friends School of Baltimore.
Dr. Holland was ordained into the Pastoral Ministry in March 1998 and currently serves as the Pastor of Education and Administration at Kingdom First Ministries where her husband, Rev. Dr. Mark Holland is the Sr. Pastor. They reside in Baltimore, Maryland with their daughters, Amanda and Kimberly.
Dr. Michelle says, “Living a life of purpose in obedience to Father God is my ultimate goal. I believe that I am a friend of God and that He has chosen me to be a leader for such a time as this.” She strives to live her best life, to edify others, and to bring glory to the name of Jesus!
