Kingdom First Ministries is a warm and friendly church with many volunteer service ministries that allow members to express their gifts and talents in service to the Lord. Service ministries are instituted as needs are identified.

Alpha and Omega Sisterhood - a ministry for teenage ladies that assist in empowering young women to be purposeful decision makers who honor God in their lives and who respect humankind and themselves.

Archives Ministry - Preserves vital church documents and records, sets up a book of church memorabilia and history, takes pictures at major church functions.

Board of Deacons and Deaconess - Makes certain that all necessary provisions are made for the temporal support of the Pastor and the Church overall.

Board of Elders - Spiritual leaders who assist the Pastor in outreach ministry and mentoring and making disciples in the church body.

Board of Trustees - This is the governing board of KFM. It ensures that all church properties are managed and protected. Provides oversight for the orderly progression of church services.

Children’s Ministry - Enriches the lives of children (ages 5 - 12)by teaching them the Word of God. Provides Bible lessons that focus on spiritual, intellectual, and social growth and development.

Youth Ministry - Enriches the lives of youth (ages 13 - 19) by teaching them the Word of God. Provides Bible lessons that focus on spiritual, intellectual, and social growth and development.

Choir - Lifts up the name of Jesus and brings edification to the church body through the ministering of spiritual songs

Compassion Ministry - Responsible for contacting those who are grieving, sick, have had a birth, or addition to the family (elderly kin, adoption, etc.); organizing hot meals, flowers, and cards. This may involve calling the family, taking food to the home, hospital visits, or in some cases, managing the meal for a KFM family and guests after a funeral.

Creative Ministry - Provides an area of ministry that allows members to express themselves creatively through poetry, drama, and other forms of the arts.

Dance Ministry - Ushers in the presence of the Lord through interpretation of spiritual songs through dance

Evangelism Ministry - Workers are taught how to effectively evangelize the unsaved, and then they go on the streets to win souls for the Lord Jesus Christ

Financial Ministry - Manages the church finances and ensures each KFM member receives a financial statement of their contributions to the ministry.

Heart to Heart Ministry – a ministry for adult women; bi-monthly meetings are facilitated by the Mother’s Board and the female Elders.

Hospitality Ministry - Manages the food for KFM events and provides ministerial accommodations for guests.

Maximized Womanhood - The umbrella name of the KFM women’s ministry. The goal of all events sponsored by Maximized Womanhood is to help women reach their maximum God-ordained potential.

Mentality Changers - The umbrella name for the KFM men’s ministry. Mentality Changers meet on 2nd Saturdays from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. during the months of January, March, May, July, September, and November. Discussions are held to help men reach their fullest God-ordained potential.

Mothers’ Board - Consists of the KFM Church Mothers who have the responsibility of mentoring the younger women and rendering spiritual loving care to the church membership at large.

Pastoral Care Ministry - Ensures that the Pastor and his household are physically taken care of by the church.

Praise Ministry - Edifies the Body of Christ through lifting up the name of Jesus in song and prepares the hearts of the congregation in praise and worship.

Prison Ministry - Ministers the Word of God to men and women who are incarcerated

Seniors’ Ministry - Ministers to the elderly in nursing homes and those who may be in their own homes, but need spiritual and physical assistance

Technical Ministry - Enhances the quality of sound operations in the ministry, manages the distribution of tapes, and assists with radio and television broadcast technical elements.

Treasured Time and Tea Party - The goal is to edify and uplift the lives of women through discussions held with other women about Scriptures, inspirational writings, and through the sharing of life experiences. Meetings are held on 2nd Saturdays from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. during the months of January, March, May, July, September, and November.

Usher Board Ministry - Greets members and guests and assists them with seating. Collect the tithes and offerings. Assist members and guests throughout service.

Writer’s Workshop - The mission is to develop an atmosphere of support where writers can feel free and safe to share their writings with others and get honest feedback to help them develop their work to its ultimate level. Meetings are held on 2nd Saturdays from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. during the months of February, April, June, August, October, and December.
